We collect usage data to improve the platform.
Ayeloe requests access to your Google account solely to enable the following features:
Google Sheets (read-only) — we read the contents of a specific Google Sheet that you link to your Ayeloe account. This is used to import your stock data, purchase records, or bookkeeping entries into Ayeloe. We do not access any other files in your Google Drive.
Google Drive (read-only) — we request minimal Drive access only to locate and read the specific Sheet you have linked. We do not browse, list, or access any other Drive content.
We do not use your Google data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the Ayeloe service directly to you.
We do not share your Google data with any third parties, except where required to operate the service (e.g. our cloud hosting provider AWS, under strict data processing terms).
Your Google data is stored only as long as necessary to provide the service. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings → Sync, which immediately revokes our access and removes your stored Google credentials from our systems.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
To provide the Sales Estimator and related buying tools, Ayeloe analyses your Amazon sales data via the SP-API. Specifically, we process:
We use this data to:
Cross-seller improvement: Ayeloe may use anonymised and aggregated patterns from seller data to improve shared forecasting models. Individual sellers cannot be identified from these aggregated outputs. You can opt out of contributing to model improvement at any time by contacting us at our support team — this will not affect your access to the service.
We will never sell your order data or use it for advertising purposes.
Legal basis (UK GDPR): legitimate interest in improving the accuracy of forecasting tools provided to you, and performance of contract to deliver the Sales Estimator feature.
Data retention: Sales summaries and model outputs are retained for as long as your account is active. On account deletion, your personal sales data is removed within 30 days.
Sub-processors who may process this data: Amazon Web Services (hosting), Keepa (market data enrichment).
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right to access — You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you at any time. We will respond within 30 days.
Right to rectification — If any data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — You can request that we delete your personal data. We will do so within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law. Note that deleting your account will remove your sales data from our systems within 30 days, but anonymised and aggregated model outputs may be retained as they cannot be attributed to you individually.
Right to restrict processing — You can ask us to pause processing your data while a dispute is resolved, or if you contest the accuracy of the data we hold.
Right to data portability — You can request your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format (CSV) to transfer to another service.
Right to object — You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, including use of your anonymised sales data to improve forecasting models. You can exercise this right by emailing our support team — we will stop using your data for model improvement without affecting your access to the service.
Rights relating to automated decision-making — Ayeloe uses algorithmic models to generate sales estimates and buying recommendations. These are advisory only — no decisions are made about you automatically without human review. You can request a human explanation of any estimate.
Right to complain — If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113.
How to exercise your rights — Email our support team with the subject line "Data Rights Request". We will respond within 30 days at no charge.
We process your data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
